Activated Carbon Acid Washed Coal Based – 5lb (A703204)

Use this activated carbon to embed BRONZclay™ pieces for firing. Coal-based, acid-washed carbon creates a richly colourful patina on pieces as they’re fired. To prepare the carbon for use, place it inside the container, cover with the lid and fire for 30 minutes at 1550°F. For a light patina colour, try the coconut shell–based activated carbon.  Can be used for approximately 12 firings.  This product can not be used with COPPRclay.
